Just Add Staples

* I apologize for so many seated photos. It was a really windy day and I was trying to limit the Marilyn Monroe moments as much as possible.

I purchased this nude flutter-sleeve blouse a few years ago and it has proven to be a true staple in my wardrobe. Today it is the perfect companion to this fun-seeking skater skirt. The skirt is not only on the lively side, it’s also on the shorter side. Which in my opinion can come off as slightly juvenile. The pale blouse does a fantastic job of combating this by adding just enough sophistication without competing with the colors of the skirt. Nude heels usually help to accomplish this as well. But on this hot and windy day, I’m simply wearing sandals. 🙂 What are some of your wardrobe staples?
