I always felt little black dresses was reserved for certain occasions. Date night, a soirée, or girl’s night out. Then I saw a quote by Karl Lagerfeld that read, “One is never over-dressed or underdressed with a Little Black Dress.” That was the only excuse I needed to bust out my pleated LBD on a weekday afternoon. 🙂
Since this spaghetti strapped, sheer, mini dress could almost be mistaken for lingerie, I toned it down with a basic knit cardigan. The long cardigan creates a perfectly even hemline with the LBD. Only showing a hint of the dress when viewed from behind.
For interest and a pop of color, I wore a medallion necklace with a peach stone. Black ankle booties add to the rebellious feel of wearing a Saturday night dress on a Monday afternoon. What nonoccasion will you use as your excuse to wear a little black dress?

I love how you styled your LBD by adding a twist.
You veered away from the usual stilettos. It made your look edgy which I like
Good Job dear. :*

I’m all about the LBD, the babydoll detailing of the dress like the spaghetti straps, takes me back to the 90s. The necklace also gives the look character.Have a good weekend!
